Awesome healthy option
I have a scrumptious cookie recipe that called for Crisco. They were good but I thought to find an alternative to Crisco and came upon this product. Made another batch and they are delicious. Next I will use to fry fish.

Flakey Pie Crust
I recently changed my diet and with that I don't use seed oils, eggs, wheat or dairy, so trying to make a pie for Thanksgiving was a challenge. I was so excited to find avocado oil shortening and it worked well in my homemade pie crust. It was like using the regular shortening I grew up with, so I felt very comfortable with it's appearance and texture. My pie crust was tender, flaky and tasted just like every traditional ingredient pie crust I have ever made. So happy to have found a healthy, quality product that performs beautifully.

A better for you alternative
This is such a an innovative product. The taste is undetectable and is amazing for baking. This truly is a guilt free alternative to an otherwise almost-obsolete food item. I loved this for making snickerdoodles!
