Baked kale chips are great in theory, but they don’t always turn out how you imagined. This recipe will leave you with perfectly crispy chips that you’ll actually want to eat. They’re flavorful, crunchy and packed with nutrients. Our Avocado Oil Spray makes it super simple to evenly coat each piece of kale to create that perfect chip.
Baked Kale Chips with Avocado Oil
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 bunch flat leaf kale
- Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Spray
- paprika
- cayenne pepper
- sea salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F. (You will need two baking sheets of the same size.)

Rinse and de-stem the kale leaves and chop them into bite-size pieces.

Spray one of your baking sheets with avocado oil.

Spread kale pieces evenly on one baking sheet and spray generously with avocado oil spray. Don't overcrowd the tray.

Season with paprika, cayenne pepper, sea salt and whatever other spices your heart desires. Get creative!

Place the second baking sheet on top of the first to flatten the kale. This will give your kale pieces that chip-like quality.

Bake for about 15 minutes. Keep an eye on your chips because they go fast! The bake time will depend on your oven.
