The avocados are pressed to extract the maximum amount of oil, which is then filtered to separate the oil from the solids. The pure avocado oil is naturally refined at a specialized facility, where the temperature is lowered, and impurities are removed to ensure high quality and stability. Finally, the oil is inspected, bottled, and prepared for shipment to customers. 

We test every batch of oil to make sure our products only contain 100% Pure Avocado Oil. Additionally, our oil’s purity was confirmed in an independent study done by UC Davis, and we were one of the two brands that passed the purity test. Sometimes the leftover waxes in our 100% Pure Avocado Oil solidify when it is exposed to extremely low temperatures resulting in a change of appearance from slightly opaque to extremely crystalized depending on the extent and duration of exposure. This occurrence does not change the nutritional value of the oil. In fact, the oil will clear up when heated! 

It means our avocado oils have been tested to ensure they contain absolutely no traces of glyphosate, a common herbicide. This certification assures consumers that our products meet strict standards for purity and safety!
