It’s hard to beat the classic combination of mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil. Our twist kicks the whole recipe up a notch—literally—with the addition of a base layer of farro and a richer version of mozzarella called burrata. Drizzle the entire salad with a blend of Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing and Greek yogurt for a tangy, creamy finish in every bite.
Farro Caprese Salad

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup Chosen Foods Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing & Marinade
- 3 cups cooked farro
- 1 lb heirloom tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 cracks fresh ground pepper
- 1 burrata
- 10 basil leaves
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt and Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing & Marinade until combined and reserve to dress the salad.
- On a large platter, place the cooked farro in an evenly distributed layer. Add sliced heirloom tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, then sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Break the burrata into quarters and place it on top of the tomatoes.
- Place the fresh basil leaves on the tomatoes and drizzle the reserved dressing on top. Enjoy immediately.
