INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE BAR PRETZEL COOKIES RECIPE
¾ cup Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Shortening
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp milk of choice
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¾ tsp baking soda
1 chocolate toffee chocolate bar (or your favorite chocolate bar) sliced into pieces
1 cup chopped pretzels
DIRECTIONS FOR CHOCOLATE BAR PRETZEL COOKIES RECIPE
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla. Cream until blended using an electric mixer. Then add the egg.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix dry ingredients into wet until blended.
- With a wooden spoon stir in chocolate bar pieces and pretzels
- With a 1½ inch ice cream scoop measure six scoops per baking sheet. If you like a thinner cookie, press down. Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375°F for 12 minutes. Don’t overbake!
- Cool for two minutes on baking sheet. Transfer to cooling rack.
